Any greater Tampa Fl area riders here? Where do you ride? I like Withlacoochee area and Van fleet trail in Polk City but looking to find more local knowledge.

Yeah that's for sure, 100 miles North things are a little better. Here is one that I am looking for more info on. Green Swamp I explored area 40 by car and it was to rough to travel with 4 wheels. Unless I was on the wrong road. Even a mtb looked like a tough go.
I also want to do the LOST and hoping for some info on that trail too.
Oh and thanks for that link I might try the WMA route.

We don't have a lot of miles here in the Orlando area, but we have a fair number of riders.  We had two recent events with one getting about 50 riders and the other closer to 70.  Plenty of cx people from the Tampa area attended last week's event.  Check out the FB public page:  [15272069_10207681636706568_5577070371520407833_o]

The LOST is a destroyed jewel... The constant work by US CORPS of Engineers has ruined any chance of a full loop without long detours on non-bike friendly roads... That said there are still some Great sections from the town of Okeechobee to Lakeport on the west side... This is a breathtaking time of year to go, as this is the destination of ducks ,pellys and plume birds... Don't forget to bring a rod and some white spinnerbaits as you'll be riding along some of the best bass fishing that can be had from shore...56yr. South Fl Native
