I'll be taking a trip to Keystone with my family Mid-June and was looking for some riding recommendations.  I've been scouring google maps and ridewithgps for some routes and roads.  I'm not sure exactly what bike I'll take, but if I do any real mountain biking I'd probably rent one as all I have is a SS SIR9.  Thanks for any help.

there are a $hitload of dirt roads out there but honestly the singletrack is so damn good in every direction that I'd be hard pressed to recommend a road ride.  If you do go the mtb route look at trailforks/mtb project.

if you don't bring your climbing gears as you'll be at 9k feet and for the most part it only goes up from there.  oh, also bigger burly tires as (for the most part) the roads are pretty burly once you get off the beaten path.  For some ideas, i'd start with STRAVA!!!!

Thanks for the advice.  It's gonna take me a day or so to adjust to the elevation coming from Northern IL and only 900ft.
