How are people mounting their Elwoods? The center tread and outer knobs have opposite facing chevron patterns. My guess is that they're meant to be run with the center chevron pointing forward.

Terrene confirmed that the Elwoods are meant to be run with the center chevron pointed forward.

I'm really happy with the Elwoods so far.  I only have about 50 miles on them, but they've been great for my usual road/gravel/singletrack loop.  I'm not a "princess and the pea" type, but the 120 TPI casing seems to have a smoother ride than the 60 TPI Clement X'Plor MSO 40mm I was running previously.  It probably helps that the Elwoods measure close to 43mm.

Word of caution:  I first tried to mount them on a set of Stan's ZTR Crest rims and there was no way they were going to fit.  Fortunately they went on my other wheels (Weinmann U28TL rim) without any trouble.
