Registration is open for this year's Redlands Strada Rossa! Between 1 and 100 miles of fantastic riding, with some of the best trails and roads you can find. All this and only and hour drive from Los Angeles or Orange County!

Registration can be found on the IEBA site, the non-profit bicycle advocacy organization that hosts the RSR as an annual fund-raiser as well as awareness-raiser. Yes, we want you to come back and ride our trails again when the event is over!

The ride will start and finish at Ritual Brewing in Redlands. They have been supporting the IEBA for four years now, and are letting us stage our event at their facility. Food and your first round of beverage is included in the registration. Also included is a one-year membership in the IEBA. This grows our numbers, and helps with insurance for the event. Join our club, we'll let you in! As of this posting (1/2/17) you need to first add the membership, which then lets you register for the ride.

Come on out, bring a friend, you'll have a great time!

This is an outstanding event.  A group of 7 of us from the San Diego area did it last year and had a great time.  The hosts were superb.  The ride itself, metric century for me, was challenging but with a great route.  And the post-ride celebration was the best.  And it's one of only a handful of gravel events in SoCal.  A must do ride.

A photo of me discovered by a friend on Cyclotourist's Flickr page from the 2016 event:

Thanks for the feedback on the ride! Awesome that I grabbed a pic of you there!!! And voting with your time and money to do it all again is the biggest compliment! The response to the ride as exceeded all our hopes, it's been fantastic! As it's a labor of love, with an all-volunteer crew running it, a lot of personal time and energy goes into it from all involved. Seeing it come together, grow, and continue over four years has been a fantastic experience! The goals are to link as many pieces of great dirt together to create a fun and exiting ride and to increase bike riding in the Inland Empire! We have some FANTASTIC trails out here, no access issues, and supportive communities ready to welcome you! Come on out for a ride!

That looks like the drop into the rest stop area before climbing up into Crafton Hills.  I'll be there for sure...a really good time my first two years and a great post ride vibe.

That's right before the stop @ mile 18.6: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/12362448

I just happened to be there at the right place and time!!! Was hobbling around with a broken clavicle from the week before, unfortunately not enjoying myself as much as I wanted to!

I'm in for the 100K (I think!).

Looking forward to it.

The best part of this ride, is that you can plan on going on a longer ride, and if you're just not feeling it, it's pretty easy to jump on the shorter route and enjoy that! Lots of options!!!

This has been on my list for a while (grew up in the area and most of my family is still in Redlands). I might just have to tie this in with an excuse to visit family...

Just need to confirm I can get the time off - I'm in Idaho and it's a bit of a drive. [biggrin]

But it sure looks like a fun ride! Rode up and over the Crafton Hills the other day - hadn't been out there in years. Good trails!

Another superb event - well done guys!  Tough course too.  We had 2 new guys w/us this year and they enjoyed it too.  We will be back next year.

This is great... Excited you could share it with others! It's pretty much a word of mouth thing, at least based on the feedback we have had. Keep spreading the RSR word!

Thanks for the pics - I recognize some of those spots.

Couldn't get the time off to drive down from ID this time, but hopefully next year!
