Not sure what bikes Raleigh has left in stock. I just received an email that the Save5 discount is back into effect. If you set up the Raleigh Corporate discount and use the Save5 you should get a sweetheart of a deal. I think when I used it on one of my bikes it didn't charge the sales tax either.

Ok it's late here on the East Coast. I was looking at the price on the Willard for another OP here on the forum. I left it in my shopping basket for 3-4 days and then Raleigh sent me the email offering the Save5 code to try and entice me to buy the bike. So I guess that is one way to get some more savings in case you have thoughts of buying a Raleigh bike.

I just checked my one email account and Raleigh had a two day sale that ended on 8/2.I'm a day late and a few dollar short.[wink]

The Willard 4 was about $800 and the 2 was about $600.Looks like not in all sizes, but I would be tempted to get that willard 4 at that price.

I used that save5 when I bought my Roker back in the beginning of the year plus I just got back another $52 from activejunky.com. Also they did not charge me sales tax either.
Not sure if both discounts still stack.

And Accell group(db,Raleigh and other brands parent company) global sales are flat for the first half and American sales are down from Dick's loss.So would not surprise me if they have more deals sooner or latter.

Not sure what you got your Roker for but if I remember right mine was $1652. Curious how you also got a $52 back from activejunky.com if you ordered from the Raleigh USA site. I kept watching the price on the Roker then and saw that they jacked the price up on then when they started going out of stock as I guess they figured everybody would pay the price since they were closing them out. I am glad I bought mine early.

The save 5 code keep them from charging the sales tax.

I bought the Roker sport for about $1300 before discounts. It might have went a little lower after I bought it,can not really remember.

So a little under $1200 after both discounts.I still have not upgraded from the Shimano tiagra 10 speed.Nothing wrong with the 10,but I want to make this one of my better bicycles

Just been busy with working around the house and life.

I also noticed the prices jumping around not just on the Roker but other models when I was looking for a bike.

So I see Raleigh.com has two newer models Tamland  on their site now.Besides color change not sure what else changed if anything.

$2150 for the 2 and $1800 for the 1.Kind of high, but I bet they go on sale sooner or latter.
I see Nashbar/ Performance Bike have some Raleigh/DB bikes now.

I bought the Roker Comp for the $1652 but in hindsight I probably wish I would have bought the Sport for the 2x Shimano as it was only 2 lbs heavier. Eventually I probably will being going 2x on the Comp but have other things to buy 1st which includes a rear hitch and rear tray for my new Mazda CX-5

I think the Comp is a lot nicer than the sport.  But yeah, really needing 2x prevented me from buying the bike.  The Roker I really wanted was the "Race" but I think that only sold in the UK.  a 17lb Roker would be sweet!

LOL
sounds like me.I still need to upgrade my sport to 11 speed.

I never did try out the 1x sram.I just know with my age + at 6' 3" #215,I'm not going to be flying up any hills around me.And I'm just a rec rider.

I usually like most of  the Raleigh paint schemes. But the black with some teal? on the sport is kind of meh.But I needed an pefer the 2x for my old legs.

The previous year comp black/blue with 105 would have been my first choice.I think that the set up.

Here is one Roker from the UK.Another nice paint combo

jjbnum3 I think this is the 17 lb Race which I think can't be imported to the States.
