Hi RangerJoe,

I chatted with you the other day concerning Microshift bar ends.  I did some checking and when my shop ordered the BS-M10 for me, i was actually sent the road version which i did not even think to double check on, so i could have saved a lot of hassle if only i had checked my order properly.  Too late now and everything is working swimmingly but at least you know that you do not have to go the older xt route for the rear.  Hope you find the shifters soon.  If not just let me know about the GX shifters as i still have them.

Thanks man! I want to ride this thing so bad I have more than once considered getting them. Shifting from the hood on a dirt drop just does not seem ideal. The answer is there I just can not source them anywhere. I think I found a take off set from a surly. They are spec. on the new long haul trucker. Hopefully this will pan out.

Microshift didn't consider the increasing popularity of bar end shifters when the put them on so many factory specs.  I want to see a picture of your ride when it is complete.  I will try to post one for you as well.  Just to make my moral worse now that it is going to be 60 degrees this week, my right knee is all swollen and stiff (looks like possible scoping again!).

I will certainly post pics when I get done.  I got an email from micro shift today.

Dear Joe,

It's our pleasure to hear you're interested in our products.

FYI, we just delivered the first lot of bar end shifter BS-M10 to QBP.
The ETA will be around mid. of April 2015. QBP may can start the
supplying end of April.

Regards

So it may be a long wait for a slow boat from Taiwan.  I actually saw a set on a Novarro bike at REI this weekend and no they would not take them off and sale them to me.  [confused]

Get well soon

Good morning RangerJoe, here are some image of my new ride.  It was quite a chore to bring it in and out of the basement with my swollen knee but i wanted to share some pics.  It was 78 degrees yesterday, so it was hard to swallow not being out for a ride. That Gryphon came out very nice.  I was almost swayed from my current build by a Swift.  I should have my bars by Monday but very happy so far. 10473608_10153159550164461_9168481017083137220_n.jpg
