Hi - I'm fascinated by your user name Ole Ritter. Did you just chose that name, or are you related to Ritter in some way? I raced in the 1962 Amateur World Championships in Brescia Italy, on the anemic USA team. In those days both the amateur and professional championships were run at the same time at the same locale. If I recall, Ritter won several medals as a pro; and went on to a successful pro career -- and at one time holding the 1 hr TT record-- before E M. Just curious.

No, I'm not related to him.  Yes, Ole Ritter did hold the hour record for a time.  I know him from the film "The Impossible Hour" and have always been impressed with the hour record.  Maybe he would have held it a bit longer, had he not the Cannibal to contend with!

Hi - thanks for the info. I checked it out -- Ritter won the Amateur Worlds in Salo - which is in Brescia. If correct, that means we actually raced together that day  -- he winning,  and me, with the rest of the meager US team, DNFing. Glad some younger folks like you still remember some of your old ancestors.

Mid Winter and Scratch and Dent Sale.

We still have these.  We've got 1 of the QR 24/28 (1607 grams), and another of the same but 28/28h (1637 grams).

The 24/28h is marked down to $350.

The 28/28h has a very small scratch on rim, and another very small scratch on hub.  This is marked down to $335.

These are no frills but high quality wheels.  They include skewers and a cassette spacer.

Ship me your tires, and I can set these up tubeless for you, for $30.

Thanks.
