I'll be leading a 40-50 mile ride in Hillsborough County NH for the AMC this Sat. 6/23. We'll be leaving from Greenfield NH at 10a, and riding through several Hillsborough towns including Francestown, Deering, Henniker, Weare, and New Boston. Along the way  we'll be riding on many unpaved town roads. The route includes frequent hills, including several very steep climbs and descents on dirt and gravel. While we are riding at a moderate pace, the combination of the hills, unpaved roads, and distance, promises to be challenging. Not for beginners. I recommend at least 32 mm gravel tires, and a 1/1 or lower climbing gear. For more info., go to the NH-AMC activity page here: https://activities.outdoors.org/search/index.cfm/action/details/id/106792&act=2
T
here is no registration fee, and the ride welcomes non-AMC members.

I've cancelled this ride due to weather concerns. I'll try to re-schedule in July.

Hi TimmyR- I appreciate your interest. I plan to continue leading and offering regular gravel rides in our area. Hope that you can join us. Our group is small and friendly. The rides are very social -- but also very challenging.

bobknh I am looking at 2 rides in your necks of the woods and thought maybe you could help me.

Kind of really interested in the Rose Mt. Rumble in NH

or

Cabot Ride the Ridges
Cabot VT.

Would Cabot be one of the better rides in VT. I saw C2 something once but I thought the entry fee was kind of high.

Thanks
Zman

If it was easy it wouldn't be a memory. You just hope you don't have all your memories in the same ride. been there dun that Zman
