Heyho!

I´m Peter (49yo) from germany.
Just wanted to say hello to all all of the gravelbike fanatics here!

Outside with MTB´s since end of the 80s and this year I found this new love.
Yesterday then I found this forum and I liked very much, what I wrote here. Looks like great informations and fun! Hopefully I can be part of it with my postings! [wink]

Greetz from Westerwald area!

Hi!

Did you find any other sources specially about gravel touring/racing in germany? I seem unable to find active communities [wink]

Hey all,
It looks like Germany is popular. Thank you for checking this out and joining along in the forum

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!

@Maelstrom. No, there are no communitys for Gravelbikes in germany. There´s some smalltalk at mtb-news.de, but that´s it!

Hello

I´m from Germany too

My hometown is in the north of Bavaria near the Czech border. 30km north east from the US-Army training area Grafenwöhr.  It´s a good place for graveling. A lot of gravel- and forest roads and the Czech cycleroutes are perfect for my riding style.

Guten tag! I took German in high school, but I don't get much chance to use it here in Northern California. You brought back memories of paging through Bravo in German class. Looking forward to seeing gravel bike posts from Germany!
