I finally got a chance to get this build pretty much complete and I figured I should share.  This bike was built from a frame and was 6800 Ultegra/RS685. Last Summer:

My wife decided to try DI2, so we went with Ultegra R8000+DA 9170s + the bar end charge port and Bluetooth unit:

FD wire routed through enlarged boss:

BB routing (enlarged drain hole - battery in seat post - B junction in seat tube):

D-Fly and internal bar routing:

Bar end connector (A junction): P3050095.jpg

Wow, nice job and cool color scheme. I have a Crockett so I appreciate what you’ve done to those bikes.

Really a beautiful bike. How is she enjoying the drivetrain?

Sadly a bit too much. Just doing a budget to replace her 6800 mechanical on her Cervélo R3 with DI2 (9150 and R8000) :-).

Love it!  You gotta try 650b with 47-50mm tires!
